Message From the *****: "Welcome to my domain. You’ve made a grave mistake coming here. I’ve been watching you, every step, every breath. You cannot hide from me. My eyes see all, my ears hear all, and my hunger... it grows with every passing second.
You’ve entered my lair, and now you belong to me. Run if you wish, but know this: the walls will whisper your every move, the shadows will cling to you like a second skin, and your fear will be my guide.
I am the darkness that devours the light, the whisper in the silence, the shadow at the corner of your vision. Your heart pounds, and I can taste your terror. It’s been so long since I’ve had a visitor. Your fear will be the sweetest feast.
Run, little mouse. Let’s see how far you can go before I catch you. And when I do... your screams will echo in these halls for eternity"

For a demo, this was super intriguing and creepy.
Tons of things to improve, of course, but for your first game and for the demo, this was superb. My suggestions are very simple - maybe add a different sound, like a creepy melody, also the collisions need to be fixed, so the lantern won't go in the wall. Other than that, it was good. Like I said, a big room for improvement.
